The newly purchased heat exchanger has been installed as a whole and can be installed as a whole. If not necessary, it should not be disassembled. The disassembly and reinstallation of the plate heat exchanger is a very meticulous work, which needs to be carried out by experienced personnel according to certain rules to ensure a good seal after installation and normal use. Incorrect assembly, disassembly and installation will cause poor sealing and even deformation and damage of the plate, which is difficult to restore.

Before disassembling the heat exchanger, use a steel ruler to measure the original thickness of the plate pack, which should be measured at the top, bottom, left, and right corners of the equipment and recorded. This thickness should be restored as much as possible when reinstalling. If you increase or decrease the number of plates, you should first calculate the correct total thickness.

The difference between the thickness after installation and compression and the nominal value should be less than 1%, and the thickness in the above example should be between 347 mm and 357 mm. Plate heat exchangers are usually compressed into a whole with 6-12 bolts. During assembly and disassembly, these bolts should be tightened or loosened evenly and unevenly.

When removing the loose bolts, first loosen the middle bolts and then to the four corners. At the beginning, 1 to 2 laps each time, then more, repeat several times to completely loosen. It is required to measure the total thickness of the plate at the four corners during the relaxation process, and the deviation between left and right should not exceed 10mm, and the deviation between top and bottom should not exceed 25mm. When tightening the bolts, the square bolts should be tightened first, and then the middle bolts should be tightened. Repeat this step by step. It is required that the asymmetry deviation of the total thickness of the plate group during the tightening process does not exceed the above-mentioned value. Assembling and disassembling bolts, a spanner of a certain length should be used to ensure proper torque. For example, the fastening bolt of BR50 type is M30, and the specified spanner length is 500mm.
