The fouling on the plates can be circulated in the heat exchanger with a suitable cleaning agent, that is, it is not necessary to disassemble the heat exchanger to remove; or disassemble the heat exchanger and clean the plates manually.
So how to choose the cleaning agent correctly?
Use the appropriate cleaning agent to remove the scalewithout damaging the plate. It should be noted that the passivation (protective) film on the surface of the stainless steel plate must not be removed.
Passive film is the main barrier against corrosion of stainless steel.
Special reminder: Do not use chlorine-containing chemicals. Such as hydrochloric acid (HCL)
①Drain the cooling/heating medium and the residual liquid of the material.
② Rinse with cold or warm water.
③Use warm cleaning solution to circulate in the system.
④ Rinse with hot water.
⑤ Rinse with hot water with softener.
⑥ Rinse with cold or warm water.
⑦It is also possible to remove the scale by adding a suitable cleaning agent instead of the circulating fluid.
⑧ Repeat adding cleaning agent until the dirt is removed.
⑨The cleaning agent can be updated in time.
⑩After cleaning, the plate heat exchanger should be fully rinsed with clean water.
