What are the advantages of plate heat exchangers?

1. Easy to clean.

After the pressure plate of the plate heat exchanger is removed, the plate bundle can be loosened and the plates can be removed for mechanical cleaning.

2. Simply change the heat exchange area or process combination.

You only need to add (or cut) plates to reach the heat exchange area that needs to be added (or cut).

3. The quotation is not high.

Under the premise of using the same data, because the layout requires less data, the production cost is lower than that of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger.

4. The plate thickness of the light-weight plate

Heat exchanger is only 0.6~0.8mm, and the thickness of the heat exchange tube of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger is 2.0~2.5mm; the shell of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger is higher than that of the plate heat exchanger. The layout is much heavier. In the case of completing the same heat exchange mission, the heat exchange area required by the plate heat exchanger is smaller than that of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger.

5. The small-sized plate

Heat exchanger has a compact layout, and the heat exchange area per unit volume is 2 to 5 times that of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger, and it does not require the maintenance of extraction control like the shell-and-tube heat exchanger. Therefore, when completing the same heat exchange mission, the floor area of the plate heat exchanger is about 1/5~1/10 of that of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger.

6. The layout of the shell-and-tube

Heat exchanger with high heat transfer coefficient is good in terms of strength, but it is not ambition from the point of view of heat exchange, due to the presence of baffles—shells, shells and shells when the fluid moves in the shell. The bypass between the baffle, the heat exchange tube, the tube, and the shell. The fluid passing through these bypasses does not fully participate in heat exchange.
